Gillian Murphy trained as a painter, and was a student at the National College of Art, Dublin, before pursuing stained glass at the Centre d'Art Sacre, Paris. Her work is found across Ireland, such as at Galway Cathedral, and internationally, including windows in New York and the Vatican.
