John Norton (1823-1904)
Architect born in Bristol and a pupil of Benjamin Ferrey. John Norton designed and restored many churches, mostly in a Gothic Revival style. He also worked in partnership with Philip Massey (1823-93). He designed and restored a number of churches in south-east Wales, including Neath, Ebbw Vale, Pontypridd, Ystrad Mynach and Llwynmadog (Eglwys Oen Duw).
